BEST most RELIABLE for SECURITY CAMERAS-No need 2 Rely on Internet or Power!

I bought this based on all the positive reviews and was needing to find something that didn't rely on power or internet. I paid more than what it is advertised for now but still worth it! The night vision I have to say isn't the greatest....but it's okay. I guess I was expecting it to be a little better based on the images I saw but I also have to say that if you live in an area that gets REALLY hot, this little guy can really stand up to heat well over 100 degrees! I forget what the exact temperature is that it says it can go up to, but I do have it in an area where it gets a little bit of shade. The most frustrating thing about the traditional security cameras like I said is that they all want to rely on internet or power so when I happened to come across trail cams I was elated! I do have to say by my own fault (I should have known better) I used the crappy batteries that came with it and they only lasted just over 2 weeks. In fact, when reviewing the images/clips from the SD card I saw that even though they were full when I put them in, they went down to half full after only two days lol. So ya, I should have known not to trust the cheap batteries but thankfully I kept an eye on it and noticed the IF wasn't coming on as much one night, and the second night not at all. The 3rd night I took it down and the issue was the dead batteries. Other than that I am impressed with what it captures. I really recommend this to anyone who is mobile as well, whether that is van life, car camping, rv, etc. bc you can still have a security system without having to worry about the issues I already mentioned. I've never understood even in a regular home how the security cameras that depend on internet and power function when those go out...but that's not for me to figure out. All I have to say that this is a SOLID option and unless you have someone who is looking for it, you can easily find a semi-discreet spot for it. Other than that, it's a deterrent for people who see it's there and may have ill intentions. The daytime images and video are impressive quality in my opinion and as far as the format they are in, I just popped the SD card in my laptop which is a few years old and I had no issue with them playing or showing. Def gonna be buying more! I also likes that this comes with a SD card already in it and programmed. (Make sure to read the directions-it's already inside the trail cam for you!). The setup and directions and simple. Other than the crappy batteries it comes with, this thing is solid and reliable, especially if you are using it for security purposes. I can't recommend it enough!!!!

Simple. High-Quality & Excellent Bang for your buck

This mini trail camera is a game-changer for non-cell cam users. Setting it up was incredibly easy, even in remote locations. It’s compact but powerful, capturing clear images day and night. I used it throughout the hunting season to gather intel, and it performed flawlessly. Waiting to find out about the battery life, but so far so good. For the price it's quality is durable, so it can withstand tough outdoor conditions. If you're looking for a reliable, hassle-free trail camera to monitor your hunting spots, this one is perfect. Highly recommend it. I've bought 7 of them thus far all at discount prices. Love it.

Nice camera, good price & easy to use!

Suspected we had a skunk under our shed so got this camera to find out. The camera takes really nice daytime photos/videos in color and black/white at night with audio if you want. Recorded birds, chipmunks, rabbits, opossums AND the skunk. There are probably babies so we'll leave her alone until fall, but at least we know the times she moves around using the photo time stamp option. The instructions are easy to follow for setting up the camera, and it's fun to see what's roaming around our country yard. It would also be a good security camera to check for unwanted people. If you take lots of videos, it does run down the batteries fairly quickly so planning on getting the better batteries mentioned in the manual. Like the included USB cord to plug into our laptop to view photos. You can view photos on the camera's small screen too.Added day and night photos.

This little trail camera punches way above its price!

Having wasted far too much time, trouble and aggravation with some of the most popular brands of trail cameras struggling just to program them, much less use them, I rolled the dice on a littleKJK; largely due to the product description emphasizing SIMPLE, and easy to use. Happy to say IT"S TRUE; so much so I bought another KJK after a few months confirming IT'S TRUE. As a bonus, they not only also take good images, but have a very wide field of view.NO, they don't communicate with satellites and clouds; nor do they cook biscuits. But they're a whole lotta trail camera, in a very small package... for very few $$$!

Great Little Game Camera

I purchased this game camera about 3 weeks ago to replace two other more name brand recognizable cameras that were kaput. This camera has worked very well so far. The strap/buckle is long enough to easily go around large oak tree trunks on my property, which is much better than previous ones. It runs on only 4 AA batteries (included) instead of 8, and comes with a 32GB SD card too. It is easy to set up, and has great options, to include photo only, video only, or photo and video, and the video has AUDIO as well. I have it mounted behind and just about a wildlife watering trough, and I can actually hear the deer and Blackbuck antelope slumping up the water and swallowing. I do not think this simple to use unit can be beat for the price. It does not have remote viewing capability other than you can hook in an SD card reader. Otherwise, you turn the unit off and remove the SD card for viewing on a separate device, but that is not a problem for me. I highly recommend it. If something changes, I'll post an update.

Very Happy With It

Wanted an inexpensive trail camera just for fun to see what critters wander at night in my rural area. The motion detection works great and the photos are really good quality. Very impressed. I think the daytime photo quality is even better than I can get with my cell phone or Kodak. The only things I’d change are the SD card slot is so close to the edge that I have to use tweezers to grab it. And it’d be nice if the On/Off switch were accessible on the outside so I could set it up first all snug with the strap, THEN just turn the switch on. But those two things are definitely not game changers and easy to work around.Liked how it comes with batteries and card, so you are ready to go. And as someone who is not tech savvy, it was easy to learn to use. Very glad I got it.

Best cheaper cam I've gotten.

Yes it's a deal but it actually works. Definitely read the instructions so you set the settings to cam, pic or cam&pic. You can choose the "best settings" but they aren't the best. You want 2k or 1080p then pick those settings so you don't get 720p.Night vision works and you can hear a slight shutter lense change when it switches over. I changed my sensitive range so it can get these lil bunnies eating my peas, but I easily see detail at 20-40ft ranges. It's water proof with a decent seal and latch. But with plastic the lock security latch can be snapped off if you tried, so I don't lock it.The screen on the inside really helps with fiddling around.I plan on getting 2-3 more more for security and such. Got to know who lurking on you land even if you don't think it's happing.

Good value

For a casual use trail cam this was a pleasant surprise. It's smaller than many similar units and that makes it easier to conceal if you're trying to catch people on your property doing things they shouldn't. Or if your mounting options are limited and you need to get creative with where you place it.One of the things you often run into with budget electronics are manuals that are not very written, this is not the case here, you can go through step by step and set up this unit in just about 10 minutes from start to finish. You get plenty of options to choose from and It's easy to configure it to meet your needs although with anything like this you'll need to experiment with it for a bit for your best results. The outer housing does latch securely with a gasket to help protect the unit from rain, and the second day after I got it we had torrential downpours for hours and I honestly expected to find it completely drenched the next morning. So when I opened it up and found one drop of water inside the case after all the time it was rained on I was very pleasantly surprised.Probably my only concern is is that the selection button between on off and setup Is a little on the mushy side, and I guess we'll have to see if that continues to work over time as it does not have a positive engagement.

It serves the purpose!

I bought two of these back in June and I’m just now starting to use them. It took a little getting used to, but because of others who have bought the camera based on their reviews, I was able to maneuver around it pretty quickly. The camera is pretty simple to set up, but there are some configurations that I had to use the manual for like, adjusting some of the settings. I bought these cameras so I can monitor what’s going on in my backyard and around my home while I’m away. I’m sure the clarity can be better once I go back in and find out what’s the best resolution for the camera? I wish the screen was bigger and the sound quality is not that great, I can barely hear anything, but so far I am pleased with the size. High-quality batteries for night vision is recommended and definitely is necessary although they do provide batteries and also a cute little stand to mount wherever. The most important feature to me was the built in viewing screen. Basically, you don’t have to take your camera off to view the activity of what’s been going on around you, I like that. For the price I paid (at the time) was reasonable and made sense, now it doesn’t. I was about to order a couple of more of these because I have other trail cams, but these were the mini ones and had everything included so I thought it would be a good bargain and it was, not so much anymore because the price has doubled. I’d still recommend if you’re in a pinch, but not worth $50 in my opinion.

Good Camera at an affordable price

We have a garden in our backyard that has a chickenwire fence around it to prevent bunnies and deer from getting into it. However, we were finding our tomatoes and cucumbers being munched on. We bought this camera so that we could figure out who the culprit was and how they were getting in. The camera was easy to set up and worked effectively. We could clearly see that there was a possum that was climbing our back fence and then dropping into the garden and munching on our veggies and then climbing back up the back fence to get out. The camera's price made it an easy, low-risk investment and it works good for our needs. If you use the video feature all the time, the battery does drain quickly. Using still photo doesn't drain the battery as quickly, but video is really more effective at seeing the night traffic in your yard.
