Much better than my other trail cam.

I have another trail cam I ordered to put near my camper in the woods. I unboxed it and it needed 8 AAA batteries I didn’t have and an SD card I didn’t have, so on that camping trip I couldn’t set it up. Next trip a few months later I brought the batteries and an SD card, but, it turned out I brough a 32 meg card, not a 32 gig card, as it uses the full size cards, not the micro, so I took the card from a stash of old cards I had laying around and misread the size. Who has 32 meg cards anymore? After six pics the SD card was full and it took me some sleuthing to figure out my mistake. Here comes this camera, complete with batteries and a 64-gig card, micro at that. This thing was a complete package that I was able to set up and use the same day. It also has Wi-Fi connection to my phone so I can view the images on the camera without having to take it down, unlike the other one I still have not been able to use. Next camping trip this one is going up in the wood. Until then I am using it around my house. You have to download the app to use and the setup on the camera is easy. The manual is easy to follow and informative, unlike so many other manuals. This trail cam exceeds my expectations and I highly recommend it.

I love my first trail cam!

Since I live in an urban area, people often ask why I want a trail cam. The short answer is to see and photograph wildlife. Our area has coyotes, mink, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, eagles, and hawks, among others. And my primary mission at the moment is to see what nocturnal varmints are terrorizing our vegetable garden. I suspect "rascally rabbits" (an homage to Elmer Fudd), but having photographic evidence would be nice. What I really like about this trail cam is the solid IP67 build. For anyone unfamiliar with these ratings, IP stands for Intrusion Protection, and it is an international standard that describes a level of water and dust intrusion protection—the higher the number, the better the protection. The 6 means no dust shall enter, and the 7 means the device can stay underwater for 30 minutes—a rating perfect for a trail cam.I "dig" the apparent quality of the camera and its cool, wrinkled camouflage finish to blend in with the surrounding area. You can strap it to a tree or other stationary object or, using the included accessories, mount it to a flat surface with screws and anchors or a tripod with the mounting plate and camera adapter. The company didn't overlook a thing when providing mounting options, and I appreciate it.I also like that they include a 64GB SD card (it can handle up to 128GB) and the 8 AA batteries needed to power the camera. Providing these two essentials meant I could get the camera set up and operating without delay.Regarding setup, it's relatively easy. You need to download the camera's app and walk through a handful of steps on the app and with the trail cam. It's nothing odious, but it takes time and requires attention. I appreciate the comprehensive manual and quick start guide. One oversight in the manual is the location of the On/Off/Setup switch. They diagram everything but that. So, I included a picture showing where it's located.During setup, you'll need to grant the camera permission to connect via BlueTooth and wifi. The camera uses its own wifi network, not that of your home, so you don't need to enter your password or anything. You must do this via the app. Once connected, you can view the images, save them to your phone, and do some other management tasks. Being able to download directly to my phone is very nice. I've included two images, daylight and IR, as examples of the only critter the camera has captured so far, me.I only have one complaint: the limited range of the trail cam's wifi connection. By my estimation, it's 20 to 30 feet. That's somewhat limiting in my use case, but it's not a deal breaker. It will work well for checking in on your camera in a forest setting, allowing you to see the images (or video if you choose that mode) without opening the camera and scrolling through everything on the built-in screen. If you want to add your first trail cam to an existing fleet, pick this product. It will meet your needs with outstanding quality and value.

Excellent trail camera

I recently picked up this trail camera from Vine, and I have to say, it’s a great camera and seeing the selling price, it's a pretty good value as well; Compared to other options with similar quality, this one is definitely below market price, which is a huge plus.Configuration is easy and it uses industry-standard options and settings that you'll find on most mainstream trail cameras. It also has a "time lapse video" mode which I haven't used but I appreciate because stitching time lapse photos into a video can be a chore. The motion detector works really well. I set it to medium sensitivity, and it captured quite a few great nighttime pictures of a fox stalking my chicken coop, even when it was fairly far away. It was also able to prevent too many false triggers which is a tough balancing act. The depth of field and image quality are impressive; see my daytime chicken shot for an example. It looks fantastic. The included SD card is a UHS-class-3, but it performs at almost double the speed for both read and write operations. I ran a performance test, and it exceeded my expectations. See a screenshot attached, if you can't parse it, just know that UHS-3 only has to hit half those numbers. I don't want to go too far into this, but it's just nice to see a manufacturer not cheaping out on parts; it speaks to their other choices.I didn’t use the app, but I appreciate that the camera uses a USB-C connector. It’s much more common these days, making it easy to find a compatible cable. Overall, I really like this camera and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable trail camera with great photo quality at a great price.PS: for the love of goodness; set your photo resolution to 4K. There ain't a camera on the market (this one included) that has a sensor justifying higher resolution. They all just up-scale the images anyways and 4K is really the sweet spot.

My new hobby!

This thing is awesome, when I picked this up for review I wasn't sure what I was getting. This thing is packed with features, options and is so easy to use. No app subscriptions, good battery life, easy instructions. HD photo and video, with audio. I loved how this came with everything you needed, from batteries, to a microsd card. Everything you need to get this setup and running within 10 minutes. I recommend getting a faster sdcard as the one provided does work, but as it fills up tends to slow down.I've had a couple of issues with it, depending on where, climate and so on you might experience fogging on the lens. I've tried a few things with varying success. It does not like to transfer large files over wifi, having played with the settings 1080p with 45sec recording seems to be about the biggest you can send over wifi. The wifi range and bluetooth degrades as the battery runs out, a good indication if it's time to replace the batteries. It has a port for external power but no mention of where or what plug to use, been testing things and will update my review if I find an option that works. It's smaller then a 1.7 style plug, I think it's a 1.35 style or smaller maybe.

Everything you need to get going is in the box. Great camera.

I live in a rural area with lots of forest around me, and I have chickens and rabbits. I thought it would be nice to set up a few game cameras just to see what predators are lurking around at night. This camera is pretty simple to set up if you follow the directions. It comes with a strap to go around a tree or pole and a swivel bracket to adjust to any angle. It also comes with alkaline batteries and an SD card. I recommend getting some 1.5-volt rechargeable lithium batteries for the future, but these are great to get started. The pictures are pretty decent quality, and you can see what animal it is even at night. I haven't had it get rained on yet to try out the waterproofing, but everything looks well sealed. I have no reason to doubt that this camera is well sealed. Overall, I am pleased with this camera.

This is a nice trail cam. Flawed by the app on your phone

This trail camera package comes as a nicely rounded complete kit. Included you have the camera, memory card, a full set of AA batteries, a tree strap and also a pivot mount that can be screwed in or adhered to some type of surface. I've tested the sensitivity of this camera and it performs fairly well. The camera is set by default to capture image only, so you'll want to go in and change that function to video + image to capture any longer details about the incursion. My primary issue comes to the case of the application you use to interface with the camera. I'm able to connect and snap "Live" images of the camera, however, for whatever reason, the stored images and videos captured on the memory card I've been unable to transfer to my phone. The only way successful I'd be able to remove them seems to be with a memory card reader. The application does allow you to make adjustments to the settings while nearby. I also find the range to be quite limited. I need to be standing approximately 20 feet away in order to have the app talk with the camera. In my case that means having to trudge into the underbrush to get close enough. Save the issues with the app, the only other issue i've had with the camera has been the temperature readout hasn't been accurate. It always seems to be a few degrees of from all my other measurements. As to the image quality and video quality, they are decent. About the same as a dash-cam, however, getting them off the camera has been a bit of an issue

Camoflauge Trail Camera with 64GB Memory Card

Me and my Guy both like Camouflaged items and since he hunts I am sure he will like that this outdoors camera can use up to a 128GB capable SD Card. I especially like all the accessories that come with it, such as: a 64GB Memory Card already in camera which you can format in the camera’s menu settings a Mounting Strap, USB Cable, User Manual and Quick Start Guide plus a base stand set. It also includes 8 AA Alkaline Batteries. I like that in the upper right hand corner on the display screen it will indicate the number of photos available to take or length of video available. This device can even connect with wi-fi to your cell phone within 45 feet and you can download the TrailCam Go app and connect through blue tooth as well. In addition it has all the usual features like: preview and play back settings, still photos, wide angle views, 90 ft flash range and a built-in 2.0” color screen with many more choices listed in the booklet. Finally, be sure to take off all the small lens protectors before use.

Great Image Quality and Easy Phone Connectivity

I’m really impressed with the WiFi Trail Camera KJK! It captures high-quality images, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The pictures are clear and detailed, making it perfect for monitoring wildlife or keeping an eye on my property. The best part is the WiFi connectivity—I can easily connect it to my phone and view the pictures it takes without having to remove the SD card. This makes it super convenient to check up on the camera whenever I want.Setting it up was straightforward, and the app works well for viewing and downloading the images. The camera also seems sturdy and well-built, so I expect it to hold up over time. If you’re looking for a trail camera with excellent image quality and the convenience of WiFi, this one’s a great choice!

Pretty Good little Camera

First off, I place this camera where I leave it and get the card and download when I want to review. I did not use the app (which I think needs work) and the wifi/bluetooth because the camera is basically set up too far to effectively work for me. This part needs work compared to other cameras we have that we have connectivity to.For the price, this camera is well made, easy to get set up and comes with everything needed to get the camera going without the wifi/bluetooth. Batteries and a micro card (64GB) included, which is a plus. The images and videos are very clear and the night vision is clear and sharp. The sound playback is pretty good, considering the price. The reason for deduction of one star is the micro card fell down into the camera and did not lock in place. Never had that to happen before. You can hear it rattling around in the camera. I was able to get one of my own micro cards to fit and stay in place. This just may be a defective camera or damaged in shipment, it is hard to tell. For the quality of the camera itself and all the needed and necessary items included to get going with images, I believe the camera is reasonably priced.

It's ok but not wifi

This camera is nice and gives you a good picture. My only and biggest complaint is that it lists it as a wifi camera. It is not. It does not hook up to your router. It uses Bluetooth and then you connect to its own wifi signal. Which means you have to be within 45ft. of it to connect.
