The Night Vision Goggles by KJK, is a very good performing set of digital goggles that offers a lot of value for the performance. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – I’d put the quality in the upper-middle range of the quality scale and guess it should hold up for a fair amount of time, assuming the electronics survive. Although, it doesn’t appear to be high quality, it has a rugged protective feel to it that should offer some protection against bumps.II. Performance – The performance is pretty good versus others that I’ve tried in this category. The day abilities are very good versus some that can only work in the dark. The zoom works effectively and the picture is clear enough to be useful. The case is hard enough to offer adequate protection and it fits everything inside. It’s easy and intuitive to use with not much need for a manual, but it does still come with one.III. Batteries – At first I was disappointed at the need for AA batteries with this model, but began to think it’s a good thing after contemplating it. Most of the night vision goggles I’ve tried come with lithium batteries, which is an advantage in many ways except that most aren’t serviceable, so the goggles are done when the batteries go. Besides you can always use rechargeable AA’s in this one.Overall, I’ve been very happy with the performance and abilities of these goggles and feel like they offer a lot of value, the performance is on par with much more expensive options. They have worked great without any issues, but I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. Feature-rich, high-resolution, night-vision binoculars

I live in a very rural area where there are a lot of nighttime animals to observe. Being a wildlife content creator, I wanted to use night scenes in some of my videos. My daytime camera shoots in 4K, so I was looking for a night vision binocular that also shoots video in 4K. If you live in the USA, you will select 60 Hz. If you live in a country that uses 50 Hz, choose 50 Hz. Let's get down to its usability and the quality of the recorded image. These night-vision binoculars are easy to use. You will want to spend some time getting accustomed to the layout of the buttons as they are not illuminated at night. Fortunately, they are placed in what I feel is a logical layout that I find easy to remember.I have included a short video of two rabbits around 250 ft. (76 m) away at night. The IR level is set to its highest. I think the overall quality of the footage is quite acceptable for my use. It is a little shaky but gives a good idea of nighttime video quality.Overall, I am delighted with these night-vision binoculars. They offer quality, great functionality, well-thought-out design and functions, sturdy build, and value for the price. I highly recommend them.

Nice night vision binoculars; perfect for viewing wildlife around home

Long range (984 feet) night vision binoculars!We live in a remote area and on a pond. There’s so many things to see at night and these binoculars are surely giving us a show. Alligators, armadillos, deer, birds, etc.To try them out, we took them into our darkest room and was so surprised how well they worked. They are not like regular binoculars. They actually work by looking into a LCD screen. With this design even our grandson who wears glasses was able to use them!The kit not only includes the long range binoculars, but it’s a camera, too. And they thought of everything by including the micro SD card.The built-in LCD screen is 2.31” HD quality. The camera takes decent pictures and even records in HD quality videos. (1280 x 960 @30 frames per second). What we did find is when using the goggles during the day, you do not get much magnification.The case that is included seems of high quality and sturdy enough to protect the camera.It requires an alkaline battery which is included! A solid starter night vision kit

This is a very nice kit for the price. I'm no experienced wildlife adventurer, but here in Florida there is a ton to see in the sunshine as well as night. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for something I may not use regularly, so I took a chance. These binoculars offer very good night vision with 5x digital zoom. It comes with a neck lanyard, a data transfer cable, a cleaning cloth, a 1913 picatinny style mount, 8 AA batteries and a nice carry case.My first mistake was not reading the instruction manual first. I admit that I initially looked through the eye lenses like a standard pair of binoculars. Please don't do that. the 3" viewing screen is LCD and gives a clear image. If you don't require a picatinny style mount, there is a receiver that will mount to a standard tripod for stability.After my initial mistake of looking through the wrong end, I found all other functions of the unit to be clear and easy. After installing the AA batteries and the TIF card, I was able to turn on the unit, scroll through the menu, set my preferences for video, still shots, date, time, etc., with ease. Zooming in and out is a breeze and the buttons are soft touch and responsive.It will take some time and usage to see how long this unit lasts, but my initial thoughts are this is a steal and after some usage I may consider gifting this to one of my kids and upgrading for myself as I can see this being used much more than I initially assumed.Five stars and two thumbs up from this buyer.

Lots of fun for kids of all ages

We acquired these binoculars more for fun than for any specific purpose. We wanted them to take on vacation to record especially the sights when we take excursions and it didn't disappoint. It's a good thing it came with batteries (8 AA) because we didn't take it out of the package until we arrived at our destination, and everyone knows that batteries in vacation areas are high. Yes there are a lot of features but really the menu is rather intuitive. Kids love binoculars and we took turns looking out over the sea at the fishing boats.

You won't be disappointed

I purchased these binoculars to view my yard and surroundings after dark without turning on a light. They are excellent for that purpose. You don't press your eyes to the lens like most binoculars, but hold it a few inches away and look through a 3" lcd screen. The Zoom and Focus features work well. Night vision works well too, especially for the $100 or so price. Since this is also a camera and video recorder that works in day or darkness, that's a plus. I do think the buttons should be labeled better plus the instructions are a bit lacking. The writing on the buttons is alright but I had to stare at them up close up to see what is labeled on them in daylight. I guess the manufacturer's logic is "at night you go by feel anyway", but it'd be easier to initially learn the button functions if you could see them better before memorizing what they do. They are very lightweight compared to regular binoculars and are comfortable on your neck using the strap. My only disappointment is I thought these would pick up my Steamlight flashlight with Infrared lens and they don't. Higher tech "night vision" goggles I've used show my IR lights illuminate everything brilliantly. These don't register the IR light at all when I turn on the IR feature of my flashlight. All in all, get em' if your looking for general night vision, about as good as you'll find for the price.

First pair of Night Vision Goggles

I am very happy with these night vision goggles for my first ever pair. I Have a chicken coop and a bear has been prowling around at night so purchased these to keep an eye on my hens. The goggles were super easy to set up just installed the batteries and removed stickers. There are multiple settings of different night vision type viewing. Easy to understand and use. Value for money and the quality is excellent in my opinion. Can see clearly in the dark. Arrived very quickly. I may suggest a pair or possibly even buy some as a gift around Christmas as they work very well!! Thanks
